In the times we are in, I feel that its never been more important to safe guard your mental health. Its easy to get consumed by the fear of Covid-19, and make no mistake were prepping for a marathon of social distancing and isolation not a sprint.
Today I took leave from work and took up the opportunity of exercising via a solo hike in the open space of a nearby National Park, also taking in the moments of mindfulness that come along with that opportunity.
I feel our National Parks are open spaces critical to a community under threat and should remain open to be used by those who practice disciplined social distancing. I for one am calling for this. #mentalhealthmatters #hikingisgoodformentalhealth
