The Palm Creek Rockslides have always been a favorite hiking and swimming spot for our group and we were excited to hold a family friendly event, suitable for all ages, fitness levels & capabilities at the rockslides in the first weekend in December.
Water Levels were holding steady, which was a surprise for this time of year given we hadn’t had any decent rain in the first week of December when the event was held.
There was certainly a confident ‘slipper and slider’ or two among the group and it was great to see so many new faces out and about sharing the experience with the Townsville Hike and Explore outdoor adventure community.
