Town Common Wildlife Spotting Walk

The Townsville Hike and Explore Group, in massive numbers, ventured out to the Town Common for what turned out to be a fun filled evening of wildlife spotting and a spectacular sunset to finish off the evening!

The weather was warm, and the mozzies were out in force, but we still managed to have a great time as usual and we welcomed several new faces into the group!

The highlight of the evening was spotting a few snakes, including a tree snake and a couple of Torres Strait Pigeons.

A big thanks to Glen Jackson for planning and leading this mid-week adventure!
