Hervey Range Storms and Waterfalls

As the thunderstorms rolled in over Hervey Range, the group ventured out to explore some seasonal creeks and waterfalls after the recent rains.

We were treated to a spectacular lightning show and some beautiful views of Townsville as the sun set somewhere high above the low cloud.

The rain came down, however not as heavy as expected which was welcomed by the group and gave us the chance to explore a few of my favourite points of interest in the area including Bridal Falls.

The seasonal creeks and watercourses in the area are a beautiful sight after a few days of decent rain, but you must be quick to witness this beauty, as they dry up very quickly when the rain eases.
