We are proud to announce that the Central Queensland Hike and Explore Group has received 2 Australia Day Award nominations in the categories of:
1. Group Achievement Award
2. Community Event of the Year Award (Central Queensland Cancer Charity Hike)
Over the past 4 years, our groups have been nominated for a total of twelve group and individual Australia Day Awards across numerous categories.
A special mention to both the Townsville & Central Qld Hike & Explore communities, organisers, leaders & supporters who have ensured that our social outdoor bushwalking, hiking and adventuring communities continue to lead the way in sharing the outdoor experience with those of all ages, fitness levels and capabilities.
